Conception of the HIMA Automation Devices

  • The HIMA PES H41q and H51q are designed on the same principle. Both system families are based on the same hardware and software, and they are the 3rd generation of the field-proven HIMA PES to control preferably process automation applications. Standard personal computers are used for configuration, logging, operation, and trend recording.
  • The HIMA PES use personal computers with the programming and engineering software
  • ELOP II for configuration, monitoring, operation and documentation. The PC should be connected to the PES by a serial interface; a RS 485 bus structure could be engineered for continuous connection of PC and PES.
  • The H41q system family is a compact automation system. The system based on a 5 units high 19” rack holding all components such as central unit, power supplies, and power distribution, as well as input/output modules.
  • The H51q system has a modular structure. A central 5 units high 19” rack containing the central unit, interface port extensions, monitoring and power supplies may have up to 16 associated input/output sub-racks 4 units high.
  • A huge range of different I/O modules is available. Different input and output modules with direct intrinsically safe process connection and also inputs according to EN60947-5-6 (NAMUR-Initiator) are available.
